Volunteers sought to serve school lunches

Bloomington public schools are looking for volunteers to help serve lunches to students. Anyone is welcome to volunteer, including retired persons, community members and parents.

Day and time commitments are flexible. For scheduling options, contact a food service representative from one of the schools below.

Benilde-St. Margaret sets open house dates

Benilde-St. Margaret's School has scheduled open houses on Aug. 8 and Sept. 14 for prospective students and their parents.

The open houses will be from 8:30 to 10:30 a.m. Guests will be welcomed in the library from 8:30 to 9 a.m. A school tour will follow from 9 to 10 a.m., and families can learn more about the school community and get questions answered from 10 to 10:30 a.m.

The school is located at 2501 Hwy. 100 S., St. Louis Park.
