The Edina Crime Prevention Fund is offering a $3,000 reward for information leading to the arrest and conviction of those responsible for the burglary that took place during daytime hours Jan. 28, said Molly Anderson, a police spokeswoman.
Several other gold necklaces, bracelets and antique jewelry from India valued at $150,000 were stolen as were cash, traveler's checks and "negotiable instruments" valued at $200,000.
Anderson said there are no suspects at this time, but police are looking for a gold or metallic color minivan that was seen in the area at the time of burglary, which took place between 8 a.m. and 3:45 p.m. in the Countryside neighborhood.
Anderson said the robbery might be connected with a similar incident in which ornate Indian jewelry was recently stolen in Woodbury.
Anybody with information is asked to call Edina police at 952-826-1600.
