CORCORAN

MARCH 14

Suspicious activity. Someone reported to police that a man was sitting on a blanket in a cemetery at 5:56 a.m. An officer found three people in the cemetery who were playing on a game board. They were advised of the cemetery's hours and left.

EDINA

MARCH 19

Theft. Jewelry valued at $6,850 was reportedly stolen from a hotel room at the Westin, 3201 Galleria.

MARCH 20

Theft. A woman reported that her purse was stolen from Chuck E. Cheese, 7505 France Av. S. She had left the purse unattended.

HOPKINS

MARCH 10

Theft. A woman reported to police that her grandson and his friend had taken her vehicle during the night from her home on the 100 block of Blake Road N. She did not want to report the vehicle stolen but requested help in locating the vehicle. The vehicle was found at the Minneapolis impound lot.

MARCH 11

Found. An ATM machine reportedly was found dumped behind a business on the 1000 block of S. 6th Street.

MAPLE GROVE

MARCH 9

Theft. A 2002 Ford van was stolen from outside a home on the 18100 block of 70th Avenue.

MAPLE PLAIN

MARCH 7

Theft. Propane tanks were stolen off a fish house on the 5800 block of Hwy. 12.

MEDINA

MARCH 10

Civil matter. A 43-year-old man from a home on the 200 block of Cherry Hill Trail reported to police that his ex-wife was refusing him visitation rights to their dog. An officer explained that since there was nothing in their divorce decree regarding visitation of the dog, it was a civil matter.

Burglary. Copper wiring and a water pipe were stolen from a business on the 2700 block of Hwy. 55.

MARCH 11

Shots fired. An officer heard six to seven shots from a shotgun on the 4700 block of Sycamore Trail. The officer located three males who were legally hunting crows nearby.

MINNETRISTA

MARCH 11

Animal complaint. Horses were reported loose along County Road 92. Officers were unable to find them.

MARCH 12

Found. A bone was found along Eagle Bluff Road and turned over to the medical examiner. It was determined not to be from a human.

MARCH 15

Drunken driving. A 21-year-old Chaska man was arrested for drunken driving after he crashed his vehicle on Hwy. 7 near Buck Lake Road.

RICHFIELD

MARCH 22

Disturbance. Someone was peeking into the window of a home on the 7400 block of 4th Avenue S. Officers searched the area, but were unable to locate any suspects.

MARCH 23

Assault. Officers took a report of a 6-year-old girl allegedly assaulted several times by a boy in her classroom at Richfield S.T.E.M. School, 7020 12th Av. S. The case was under investigation.

Burglary. A safe containing $200 in quarters was stolen from a home on the 7100 block of Nicollet Avenue S. Suspects entered the home by kicking in the front door.

MARCH 26

Theft. A cellphone and mattress were stolen on the 6300 block of Lyndale Avenue S.

SHOREWOOD

MARCH 18

Shooting. Shots were heard near Lake William off of Ferncroft Drive. Officers located a man who said he had fired at a beaver. The case was forwarded to the city attorney.
