CHASKA

WEEK OF JAN. 30

Disorderly conduct. Two males and a female were issued citations at a home on Crosstown Boulevard after a physical altercation.

EDINA

FEB. 7

Drugs. A 50-year-old Burnsville man was arrested for possession of marijuana and drug paraphernalia after he was stopped for a traffic violation on 60th Street and Xerxes Avenue.

FEB. 9

Property damage. Two boys, ages 12 and 14, were arrested for property damage and use of tobacco at Target, 7000 York Av. S. Damage was done inside a restroom.

FEB. 11

Theft. A cellphone was stolen from an unlocked locker at the YMCA, 7355 York Av. S.

FEB. 13

Theft. Two women received hair services that they did not pay for at Rocco Altobelli in the Galleria.

EXCELSIOR

FEB. 18

Robbery. A 34-year-old Excelsior man was arrested for aggravated robbery and 5th degree domestic assault on the 700 block of Water Street.

GREENWOOD

FEB. 17

Property damage. Someone threw eggs at 12-15 vehicles that were parked on the street in the 5100 block of Meadville Street.

HOPKINS

JAN. 24

Suspicious activity. Someone called police to report that a woman was cutting into an apartment door with a butcher knife on the 900 block of 9th Avenue S. Officers located the woman and found that she had locked herself out of her apartment and was trying to get back in.

INDEPENDENCE

JAN. 16

Drunken driving. A 71-year-old Delano woman was arrested for drunken driving at County Road 11 and Lake Sarah Road.

MAPLE GROVE

JAN. 27

Theft. A catalytic converter was cut off of a vehicle on the 9100 block of Zachary Lane.

FEB. 1

Theft. A laptop and accessories were stolen from an unlocked vehicle in the OfficeMax parking lot at 11160 Fountains Drive.

MEDINA

JAN. 26

Animal complaint. A woman called police to report that a wolf was in front of her house on the 600 block of Hamel Road. She told police that the animal had sniffed at her granddaughter's leg. The officer questioned the woman about whether the animal actually might have been a husky with a chain-type collar. It was determined that the animal was a husky that was reported loose earlier in the day.

RICHFIELD

FEB. 12

Burglary. An electronic game system was stolen from a home on the 300 block of 74th Street W. Entry was gained by using a putty knife to force the door open.

FEB. 13

Burglary. Someone broke into Blessed Trinity School at 6730 Nicollet Av. S., damaged three office doors and stole $543.

FEB. 16

Burglary. During the night, someone stole $479.23 from Planet Beach, 7610 Lyndale Av. S.

FEB. 19

Theft. A 21-year-old woman reported that she had started her vehicle and left it running while she went back into her apartment on the 900 block of 77th Street E. When she came out, the vehicle had disappeared. She said she did not know the year, make or model of the vehicle. She called police a short time later to report that she had found it two blocks away. The keys were still in the vehicle, but the stereo was missing.
