CHANHASSEN

MAY 31

Property damage. Someone spray-painted racial words on one garage door and a mushroom on another garage door in the 500 block of Pleasant View Road.

Property damage. Someone spray-painted a swastika as well as letters and a smiley face on a home in the 7000 block of Frontier Trail. The Carver County Sheriff's Office is investigating.

CHASKA

MAY 27

Burglary. An officer responded to a home on Broadview Avenue regarding a suspected burglary. The officer discovered forced entry to the front door of the home, and areas of the home had been rummaged through and items were missing. The homeowners, who were out of town, were contacted. After an investigation, police arrested a 24-year-old Carver man, a 21-year-old Chaska man and one juvenile from Chaska for burglary and other crimes.

EDINA

MAY 24

Alcohol violation. A 33-year-old woman was charged with serving alcohol to an underage person at Raku Japanese Restaurant, 3939 50th St. W.

MAY 28

Burglary. Officers responded to Moquist Thorvilson Kaufmann Kennedy and Pieper, 7650 Edinborough Way, regarding a burglary. Someone forcibly entered the accounting business and stole four laptop computers.

MAY 29

Underage consumption. Police received a report of a fight in the hallway of an apartment building on the 7200 block of York Avenue S. Officers arrested an 18-year-old Lakeville man for possession of drug paraphernalia, underage consumption of alcohol and hosting an open house party. Also arrested for underage consumption were a 19-year-old Burnsville man and a 19-year-old Savage man.

INDEPENDENCE

MAY 23

Suspicious activity. Someone reported a suspicious vehicle being driven back and forth with its lights turned off on the 6100 block of Drake Drive. Officers located four individuals, including one carrying a plastic tub of pink flamingos, who said they were placing the pink flamingos on behalf of their church in the yards of people who had donated money for the church's mission trip. Officers contacted the homeowner, who confirmed that he had given money for the mission trip.

MAY 29

Littering. Officers received a report of debris in the road in the 5300 block of County Road 6. Someone had placed tree logs, a toilet paper roll and a banana peel in the traffic lane of County Road 6. The debris was removed.

MAY 30

Property damage. Someone put flowerpots and a bench on top of a vehicle and scraped obscenities into the hood of the vehicle on the 5200 block of County Road 6. Also, a mirror and windshield wiper were removed from another vehicle.

PLYMOUTH

MAY 24

Property damage. A resident from a home on the 10300 block of 38th Avenue N. called police to report property damage. Someone glued the sprinkler to their garden hose and it wouldn't come off.

MAY 25

Burglary. A burglary was reported at an apartment on the 3300 block of Hwy. 169. Someone stole a television and a computer from the unlocked apartment.

TONKA BAY

MAY 21

Underage consumption. Officers received a complaint about a loud party at a home on W. Pleasant Lane. They arrested eight adults and five juveniles on charges including underage consumption of alcohol, possession of drug paraphernalia and possession of a small amount of marijuana.
