Drivers in the southwest metro area will get a bridge back beginning Wednesday afternoon.
Hwy. 101 spanning the Minnesota River between Flying Cloud Drive in Chanhassen and downtown Shakopee will reopen to traffic at 3 p.m. Wednesday, the Minnesota Department of Transportation said.
The road has been closed for flooding, and later repairs, since March 23.
State officials said crews were able to complete the repair work two days earlier than expected.
