WILLMAR, MINN. - The body of a Plymouth man was recovered Saturday evening from Eagle Lake, authorities said Sunday.

The body of Martin Richard Schriner, 35, was recovered around 5:45 p.m., several hours after authorities were notified that two people who had been in a fishing boat had gone into the water on the north end of the lake, the Kandiyohi County Sheriff's Department said.

The boat continued to drive in circles while a bystander on a water scooter rescued one of the boaters and took him to shore, the agency said. The survivor was taken to Rice Memorial Hospital, where he was treated and released.

The lake is about five miles north of Willmar.
