Bloomington OCT. 4
Theft. A vehicle was stolen from Parkshore Estates apartments, 8951 Goodrich Road.
OCT. 5
Burglary. A house in the 8000 block of Bloomington Avenue S. was burglarized.
OCT. 9
Burglary. A business in the 1800 block of E. American Boulevard was burglarized.
Burglary. Three businesses in a commercial development at 8140 26th Av. S. were burglarized.
OCT. 10
Fraud/theft. An 18-year-old woman and her 34-year-old mother were arrested for making fraudulent purchases at Macy's and Bloomingdales, 3000 Southeast Court. The 18-year-old woman is a former Macy's employee. Macy's gives its employees cards that must be prepaid to use. The woman had quit working at Macy's, but still had a card that Macy's hadn't deactivated. The two women would write bad checks for thousands of dollars to charge the prepaid card, then use the card to buy items before the checks bounced at the bank, police said.

Animal complaint. Someone reported a loose goat near the road between the fire department and the small cemetery in the 800 block of County Road 147.
Chanhassen
OCT. 5
Animal complaint. Someone reported that a neighbor's cat has been leaving dead animals on their doorstep in the 8000 block of Stone Creek Drive.

Theft. Appliances were stolen from a construction site in the 1800 block of Freedom Lane.

Suspicious activity. Two girls were leaving pieces of candy and ringing doorbells in the 10100 block of Trails End Road.

Property damage. The owner of a vehicle in the 20000 block of N. 70th Avenue reported damage to his vehicle. When he went to fill up his gas tank, he noticed a white substance in his gas tank, which turned out to be baby powder.
Dayton
OCT. 14
Burglary. Deputies responded to an address on Auburn Drive after a report of a burglary. A 52-year-old woman reported hearing a noise during the night. When she got up she said she was struck and knocked out. She awoke several hours later and found that some legal paperwork concerning her father's estate was missing, she said.
Eden Prairie
SEPT. 28
Burglary. Golf clubs and a bag, value $2,546, were stolen from a home in the 18000 block of Firethorn Point.
Edina
SEPT. 23
Alcohol violations. After police responded to a report of a man urinating in a park in the 7300 block of Cahill Road, they arrested a man for purchasing alcohol for a minor and contributing to juvenile delinquency. A teenage girl was arrested for giving false information, curfew violation and underage consumption.
OCT. 4
Property damage. Three house windows were shot in the 6800 block of Sally Lane.
OCT. 7
Theft. Someone stole an $800 pair of sunglasses from an unlocked vehicle in the 6800 block of Johnson Drive.
Hassan Township
OCT. 1
Property damage. An Xcel Energy employee reported property damage at the area of Northdale Boulevard and 147th Avenue N. Deputies located an entire front bumper with the license plate attached. The deputies went to the vehicle owner's home, but no one was home. They left a card for the owner to call when he returns.
Hopkins
OCT. 1
Theft. A vehicle was stolen in the 400 block of N. Van Buren Place.
OCT. 5
Theft. A birth certificate was stolen in the 600 block of 16th Avenue S.
OCT. 6
Theft. Someone stole golf clubs from Oak Ridge Country Club, 700 Oak Ridge Road.
Burglary. The computer room at Rosewood West apartment building, 460 5th Av. N, was broken into.
Medina
SEPT. 21
Hunting. Police received a hunting complaint in the 3400 block of Elm Creek Drive. Police spoke to the hunter who was shooting clay pigeons in his field. He said he was done for the day.

SEPT. 30
Theft. A 21-year-old man was arrested for shoplifting at Sears, 12431 Wayzata Blvd.
OCT. 1
Permit violation. A 47-year-old man was arrested for unauthorized use of a handicapped-parking permit in the 12400 block of Wayzata Boulevard.
OCT. 2
Burglary. A house in the 3200 block of Larchmore Avenue was burglarized.
Norwood Young America
OCT. 5
Ordinance violation. Someone reported that there were customers in the Main Street Steakhouse & Sports Tavern, 105 E. Main St., after hours.
Plymouth
OCT. 10
Theft. A caller in the 16600 block of N. 21st Avenue reported that her son had friends over and now she's missing some guns, jewelry, cash and miscellaneous documents, value $10,000, from her safe.
OCT. 6
Burglary. Someone broke into a house in the 800 block of County Road 101 and stole an electronic game with accessories, an iPod, and medications, value $2,050.
Richfield
OCT. 9
Shoplifting. A 21-year-old man was arrested for shoplifting in the 100 block of W. 66th Street.
OCT. 10
Fraud. A 51-year-old St. Louis Park man was arrested for credit card fraud in the 6400 block of S. Nicollet Avenue.
Rockford
OCT. 9
Assault. Deputies responded to an address in the 7700 block of Hwy. 55 for an assault report. A 61-year-old man reported going to work on Aug. 6 to tell his boss that he was quitting. When he returned to the business to retrieve his personal items, he said his boss pushed him down the stairs and his pants were ripped.
SOUTH Lake Minnetonka
SEPT. 28
Fishing regulations. Two Minneapolis women were cited for fishing without a license in the Narrows Channel of Tonka Bay.
OCT. 6
Property damage. The owner of a boat being stored at Howard's Point Marina, 5400 Howard's Point Road, reported that an arrow had been shot into the boat, damaging its cover and seat.
SEPT. 22
False alarm. A Minnetonka man reported that someone stole his vehicle, which he said was parked on 2nd Street by East Drive in Excelsior the night before. That same night, the man was reported by Maynard's, 685 Excelsior Blvd., as a suspicious person and police took him home because he was intoxicated. His vehicle was later located in Maynard's parking lot.

Burglary. A house in the 6100 block of S. Cedar Lake Road was burglarized.
OCT. 5
Theft. Thefts from three vehicles were reported in the 2500 block of Hwy. 100.
OCT. 6
Burglary. A house in the 2800 block of S. Huntington Avenue was burglarized.

Road block. Hay bales were in the road in the area of Hwy. 5 and Minnewashta Parkway.

OCT. 10
Illegal burning. Someone reported illegal burning in the 6700 block of Quartz Avenue.

Fraud. A 42-year-old woman was charged with issuing a worthless check at Colony Plaza, 140 W. Hwy. 5.
