2 arrested in Cokato bank burglary

Last update: October 11, 2007 - 5:54 PM

Two people have been arrested and charged in connection with a bank burglary in Cokato, Minn., Wright County Sheriff Gary Miller said.

Authorities executed a search warrant at a house in Cokato on Tuesday afternoon and found a large sum of money and newly-purchased electronic equipment and clothing. They also found items that Kelly Bell, 42, and Jeremy Fuller, 18, are believed to have stolen from the State Bank of Cokato sometime between Friday night and Saturday morning, Miller said.

Bell's three children were present when authorities arrested the suspects in the house on the 200 block of SW. 3rd Street.

The Wright County Major Crimes Unit and the FBI had been investigating the burglary after a bank employee showed up for work Saturday morning and reported an undetermined amount of money was missing.
