Last update: November 13, 2009 - 9:20 PM

An 18-year-old man was in custody Friday night in connection with a stabbing in St. Paul that sent two teenagers to the hospital.

St. Paul police responded at about 4 p.m. Friday to reports of a stabbing in the 1400 block of Case Avenue, south of Lake Phalen.

They found two juvenile males who had been wounded in what they believe could be a gang-related fight in a parking lot near an apartment building.

The victims were taken to Regions Hospital for treatment.

Their condition was "not critical, but they were stabbed in the sides," said St. Paul police Cmdr. Doug Holtz.

The man who was arrested is expected to be charged with aggravated assault.
