A St. Paul man charged in three armed gas station holdups pleaded guilty to one count of first-degree aggravated robbery Friday in Ramsey County District Court. Scott P. McDonough, 32, was accused of robbing a SuperAmerica station at 1580 Ford Pkwy. and a Marathon station at 2525 W. 7th St., both in St. Paul, within minutes of each other July 27. Less than two hours later, McDonough robbed another SuperAmerica on Cliff Road in Eagan. He was convicted Tuesday of first-degree aggravated robbery in Dakota County District Court and is to be sentenced in December.
