Air pollution alert is raised for Twin Cities, points east

Residents of the Twin Cities area, southeastern Minnesota and all of Wisconsin will be under an air pollution alert  Wednesday.

People with allergies, asthma and other respiratory sensitivities should limit their exposure to outside air, according to the National Weather Service and other agencies.

People have also been advised to limit their driving and use of small gas or diesel engines today, in order to reduce emissions of particles.
