A man's body was pulled from Como Lake in St. Paul on Sunday afternoon, police said.

The body was spotted near the Como Lakeside Pavilion about 1:30 p.m. and recovered by St. Paul fire personnel, police spokesman Howie Padilla said.

As of Sunday night, the man had not been identified. But about two weeks ago, Padilla said, police had searched in the area near where the body was recovered for a man who had been reported missing. "We, at this point, are not confirming that this is that individual," he said.

The Ramsey County medical examiner will determine the cause of death. The medical examiner also will make the identification, Padilla said.
