Two employees of a St. Paul grocery store were injured after a car crashed into the building Saturday night.

The workers were inside the Winnipeg Grocery at 864 Rice St. when the vehicle hit the brick building at 8:16 p.m. Both employees suffered minor injuries; one was treated at the scene and the other was taken to Regions Hospital. Neither employee was hit by the car but were injured by broken glass, according to St. Paul watch commander Julie Maidment.

The driver of the car, the only person in the car, also suffered minor injuries and was taken to Regions Hospital.

The cause of the crash is unknown, Maidment said.
