The teen, who is charged with second-degree assault, remains in custody and will return to court April 17.
A 15-year-old girl accused of slashing the throat of a St. Paul taxi driver has been charged with second-degree assault, a Ramsey County attorney's office spokeswoman said Thursday.
She remains in custody at the county's juvenile detention center.
The girl allegedly attacked the cab driver early Tuesday after she stiffed him on a $22 cab fare and he responded by trying to drive her to a police precinct for violating curfew. The driver is recovering after receiving 13 stitches just below his chin.
The girl is scheduled to return to court April 17, when authorities will consider whether to certify her as an adult, among other options.
