Victim identified in fatal St. Paul shooting

The St. Paul man killed in a shooting early Saturday has been identified by police as Roy Burgess, 50.
No arrests in the case had been made by Sunday night.
St. Paul officers were called to a duplex in the 400 block of E. Arlington Avenue just after midnight Saturday morning on a report of two people who had been shot. Preliminary information indicates that intruders fired at the pair inside the home, said spokesman Howie Padilla. Burgess died at the scene.
Fire Department paramedics transported Douglas Vaughn, 59, of St. Paul, to Regions Hospital. He was treated for noncritical injuries.
Padilla said investigators have limited suspect information and continue to piece together a possible motive.
