A free music series focused on fostering economic and community growth along the Central Corridor light-rail line debuts June 20 in St. Paul.

Jazz on the Line is a pilot project by Irrigate, an artist-led effort, and is sponsored by Springboard for the Arts. Partners include the Midway Chamber of Commerce, the Little Mekong Business and Culture District and businesses along University Avenue.

Stores along the route have seen dramatic dips in business as construction ties up and closes portions of University Avenue.

When: Wednesdays, June 20 and July 18

Time: 6:30-9 p.m.

Cost: Free, but guests are encouraged to patronize the host business. Reservations are requested. Call 651-222-7798, or e-mail ask@littlemekong.com.
