Description released in St. Paul hit and run

More detailed descriptions have been released of the vehicle that struck a 71-year-old woman in St. Paul.

Susan Hengefelt was hit Saturday morning on W. 7th Street near Chestnut Street. She is in stable condition at Regions Hospital in St. Paul, awaiting surgery for broken bones.

The vehicle is described as a mid-1980s Pontiac Bonneville. The hood and front fenders are white, the top is brown vinyl and the doors and rear of the car are black. The license plate may be something similar to PAJ 774. Witnesses said the driver got out of the car, saw the victim and then drove away east on W. 7th, police said.
