A suspicious package inside a St. Paul church had police blocking traffic along several blocks Friday morning, until police determined it was not explosive.

A bag was handcuffed to an exterior door at Holy Spirit Parish, a Catholic church and school near Randolph Avenue and Albert Street. Students in the school were kept in their classrooms as a precaution until the all-clear was given shortly after 10 a.m.
