I-35 south to be closed this weekend

Motorists in the south metro should expect construction-related detours and slow going this weekend. The southbound lanes of Interstate 35W will be closed at the western junction of Hwy. 62 starting at 10 p.m. Friday, reopening at 5 a.m. Monday. Northbound 35W and Hwy. 62 will remain open. As part of the 35W/Hwy. 62 Crosstown project, the closure will allow crews to set bridge beams on the eastbound Hwy. 62 bridge spanning southbound 35W. PAUL WALSH
