Orthodontist Dr. Jennifer Eisenhuth will again offer her Halloween candy "buy back" program, in which kids can turn in excess Halloween candy in exchange for tokens good for prizes. The candy is then shipped to U.S. troops overseas.
This year's candy collection will be from 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. on Nov. 2. Last year, the office collected 850 pounds of candy, according to a news release. The event started as an incentive for orthodontic patients to turn in caramels and other goodies that are off-limits for people with braces.
The office is at 3340 Sherman Court, Eagan. See www.doctorjennifer.com for more details.
