Apple Valley

SEPT. 17

Assault. A man, 43, from Apple Valley was arrested for felony second-degree assault with a dangerous weapon in the 12100 block of Geneva Way.

BURNSVILLE

SEPT. 14

Traffic stop. In the 700 block of W. Burnsville Parkway, a man, 26, from Bloomington was cited for having an obstructed license plate and possession of a small amount of marijuana.

SEPT. 15

Traffic stop. At 2:46 a.m. near Innsbrook Lane and Plymouth Avenue S., a man, 38, from Burnsville was arrested for drunken driving and driving after cancellation.

Theft. Police arrested a woman, 24, from Cottage Grove for shoplifting at a store located at 13900 Aldrich Av. S.

SEPT. 16

Traffic stop. Near 900 W. Burnsville Pkwy. a man, 22, of Bloomington was arrested for driving without insurance, violation of a restricted license and possession of marijuana.

SEPT. 18

Suspicious person. Near the 12900 block of Aldrich Avenue S. an officer cited a man, 37, of Apple Valley for possession of marijuana in a motor vehicle.

Theft. Police arrested a man, 53, from Shakopee near 2700 Hwy. 13 for shoplifting.

Traffic stop. On a report of a driving complaint near 13500 W. Burnsville Parkway, a man, 19, of Burnsville was arrested for giving a false name to police, displaying another driver's license, open bottle and drunken driving.

SEPT. 20

Theft. Two men from Apple Valley were arrested in the 14000 block of Plymouth Avenue S. The first, age 22, was arrested for unauthorized use of a vehicle, possession of stolen property and fleeing police. The second, age 24, was arrested for possession of stolen property and fleeing police.

Eagan

SEPT. 15

Suspicious person. A caller reported activity near the 3500 block of Lexington Avenue in O'Leary Park, believed to be juveniles smoking marijuana. This is an ongoing problem in this park.

SEPT. 16

Domestic assault. An Eagan man, 48, was arrested near the 1700 block of Flamingo Street for inflicting bodily harm on another person.

Inver grove heights

SEPT. 16

Assault. A 29-year-old man was arrested in the 5300 block of Greystone Drive for fifth-degree assault, which includes fear of bodily harm or death.

Jordan

SEPT. 7

Theft. A business in the 200 block of Triangle Lane reported theft of cigarettes. A man entered the store, purchased six packs of cigarettes and returned one pack that the clerk later discovered was empty and had been taped shut. Police contacted the man and advised him to return to pay for the cigarettes.

SEPT. 9

Burglary. A woman reported a prowler at her residence on North Valley Drive. While police were en route, the caller stated that a man was trying to enter her residence. Officers arrived and located a teen attempting to enter through a side window. He was arrested, after a brief struggle, for attempted first-degree burglary. He had three outstanding arrest warrants from three other counties.

SEPT. 11

Domestic. Officers responded to a domestic assault in the 100 block of E. 1st Street. A teen girl was arrested for fifth-degree domestic assault and disorderly conduct and was transported to the Scott County jail.

SEPT. 15

Narcotic. At Mystic Lake Casino, 2400 NW. Mystic Lake Blvd., a man, 44, from Bloomington was arrested and jailed for possession of cocaine and drug paraphernalia. And a woman, 25, was cited for possession of drug paraphernalia.

SEPT. 16

Theft. In the 4700 block of Tower Street, a man, 32, of Prior Lake was cited for stealing cable.

rosemount

SEPT. 15

Domestic dispute. Near the 1600 block of E. 145th Street, a man, 24, was arrested for assault and interfering with a 911 call.

SEPT. 18

Traffic stop. In the 15000 block of Chippendale Avenue, a man, 20, from Rosemount was arrested for driving after suspension.

Suspicious person. Near 3700 W. 145th St., a man, 21, of Rosemount and a fugitive from justice was arrested for fleeing police and an outstanding warrant. Another man, 18, of Rosemount was cited for underage drinking.

SEPT. 19

Theft. A girl, 17, from Rosemount was taken into custody near the 3700 block of W. 150th Street for taking an automobile without consent.

Shakopee

SEPT. 16

Hit and run accident. At Crossings Boulevard and County Road 18, police cited a woman, 21, of Richfield for hit and run, failure to yield and no proof of insurance.

SEPT. 20

Traffic stop. Near the intersection of S. Lewis Street and 6th Avenue E., police stopped a man, 39, of Prior Lake for drunken driving.
