APPLE VALLEY

APRIL 23

Possible intruder. At 12:44 a.m., officers responded to a house on a report of an intruder. Upon arrival they met with the homeowner. He told them a taxicab driver named "Rob" entered his bedroom in the middle of the night, woke him, and the two of them exchanged words. The officers searched the house with the owner and found no signs that anyone had been in the home except the homeowner, and he changed his story several times. He then stated rather sheepishly, "I must have been dreaming."

APRIL 24

Theft. A resident of the 12700 block of Germane Avenue reported that two iPods were stolen from her residence. She stated that her daughter had some friends over at the house and when they left the iPods could not be found. The incident is under investigation.

Theft. An employee of Carmike Theater reported that someone stole $40 out of her purse that had been in the employee break room.

APRIL 25

Theft. An unlocked vehicle parked in the 6700 block of 132nd Street was entered and several CDs valued at $100 were stolen.

Theft. A GPS unit was stolen out of an unlocked vehicle in the 15700 block of Fjord Avenue.

APRIL 26

Theft. Tools were reported stolen from an unlocked truck parked in the 13500 block of Findlay Avenue.

Theft. A digital camera valued at $200 was stolen from an unlocked vehicle in the 15900 block of Finch Avenue.

Theft. Another camera was stolen the same night from an unlocked vehicle in the 15900 block of Fjord Avenue.

APRIL 20

Damage to property. Vandalism to a fence at a townhouse was reported by the association president in the 1500 block of Thomas Lane. The original reporting party near 4600 Stonecliffe Drive has no suspect information.

Suspicious persons. An employee at a business in the 1200 block of Promenade Place reported that three woman -- one tall, one pregnant and the third of an unknown description -- had attempted to steal something but didn't know if they actually stole anything. They left in a white 4-door vehicle headed in an unknown direction.

APRIL 22

Damage to property. A woman, 30, from Apple Valley was stopped for a minor traffic infraction near Hwy. 13 and Yankee Doodle Road. She was arrested for no license plates, driving after revocation, giving a false name to a police officer, and an outstanding Anoka County warrant possession of stolen property.

Lakeville

APRIL 23

Driving violation. A man decided to do a favor for his friend, who had too much to drink, by driving him home. Unfortunately, the driver who was doing the favor had no driver's license, as his driving privileges were canceled. The vehicle that he was driving was stopped for a traffic violation. The driver was cited and subsequently released. The vehicle was towed and the license plates were impounded.

Prior Lake

APRIL 24

Fishing. Juveniles were reportedly killing sucker fish in the creek near 170th Street and SW. Spring Lake Road. Officers contacted the DNR, which advised that it was not illegal to kill the fish, but the method was not proper. The Juveniles were advised and said they would stop.

APRIL 25

Traffic. On S. Hwy. 13 at South Park Drive, deputies stopped a vehicle for a traffic violation. A man, 54, from Savage was arrested and jailed for drunken driving.

APRIL 26

Disturbing the peace. There was a report by the Basement Bar and Grill that a customer, involved in a disturbance, had a laceration and needed medical attention. The offices arrived and located a man, 45, of Watertown, S.D., provided him an ambulance, and cited him for disorderly conduct.

Shakopee

APRIL 20

Drugs. At 5:14 p.m. near the 400 block of E 1st Ave a man, 30, from Shakopee was arrested for 5th-degreee possession of cocaine.
