DEC. 29

Alcohol. An 18 year-old Rosemount girl was arrested for underage consumption.

DEC. 29

Traffic. A man, 28, from Rosemount was taken into custody for failure to pay motor-vehicle tax, driving after revocation, expired registration, and a collector's license plates violation.

DEC. 30

Theft. A man claimed that money was stolen from his vehicle at Paradise Car Wash. He said he had $900 hidden under the passenger-side floor mat before going through the wash.

DEC. 30

Theft. A homeowner found an intruder in his garage in the 14500 block of Genesee Avenue. The intruder fled and sped away in a car. The homeowner wrote down the license plate number. Burnsville police spotted the vehicle in their city and stopped it. Numerous items reported stolen out of vehicles were found in the car and the occupants of the vehicle went to jail.

Burnsville

DEC. 28

Traffic. A 26-year-old Burnsville man was arrested for no proof of insurance and third-degree drunken driving because he refused to take a Breathalyzer test.

Eagan

DEC. 29

Damage to property. A caller near the 1400 block of Rocky Lane reported that someone had spray-painted their car. The perpetrators toilet-papered the trees, wrote on the vehicle windows, and shoveled snow and garbage on the vehicle, but there doesn't appear to be permanent damage.

DEC. 29

Theft. A business in the 2900 block of Eagandale Boulevard reported its company website system was hacked into and that the perpetrator had access to Social Security numbers.

inver grove heights

DEC. 28

Drugs and criminal sexual conduct. A man, 26, of Inver Grove Heights was arrested on a felony charge of fifth-degree possession of marijuana and first-degree criminal sexual conduct.

Rosemount

DEC. 29

Registration of predatory offenders. A man, 29, of Rosemount was picked up on a warrant out of Scott County for failure to register as a sex offender. He was also charged with possession of a controlled substance.

shakopee

DEC. 28

Traffic and drugs. Near the 400 block of 1st Avenue E., a man, 25, of Coon Rapids was cited for driving after revocation, possession of a small amount of marijuana and possession of drug paraphernalia. Two other men with the driver, one 25 and another 26, both of Shakopee, were arrested for fourth-degree assault, obstruction with force, and disorderly conduct.

DEC. 28

Disorderly conduct. A man, 27, of Shakopee was arrested for fifth-degree assault near 4th Avenue E. and S. Dakota Street.

DEC. 28

Traffic. Near the 1400 block of St. Francis Avenue, a woman, 21, of Shakopee was arrested for second-degree drunken driving, no proof of insurance, driving after revocation and obstruction with force.

JAN. 01

Stolen property. Near S. Canterbury Road and Eagle Creek Boulevard a man, 21, of Minneapolis was arrested for giving false information to a police officer. A second man, 22, of Minneapolis also was arrested.
