Neuger announces new vice president

Neuger Communications Group, a marketing and public relations firm, announced that senior communications counselor Penelope Hillemann has been promoted to vice president. Hillemann, a Northfield resident, has a bachelor's degree in psychology from Brown University and a J.D. from the University of Wisconsin Law School. She has previously worked as a lawyer in Milwaukee and as communications associate at St. Olaf College's former WCAL classical radio station. Neuger Communications Group, founded in 2002, provides strategic communications services to clients across the nation.

Chiropractic and acupuncture clinic

Absolute Health Chiropractic and Acupuncture has opened in Lakeville, featuring two chiropractors who offer a range of pain-relief techniques. The office, next to the Lakeville 21 movie theater at 20520 Keokuk Av., Suite 130, offers same-day appointments with Dr. Ryan Betzina and Dr. Kate Skrypek. In addition to chiropractic techniques, Betzina is one of the few practitioners in the area to offer acupuncture for pain relief. Skrypek is trained in Graston technique, a method for treating soft-tissue injuries, reducing the need for splints, braces and anti-inflammatory medications.
