Drugs. A Hudson, Wis., man, 47, was arrested for fifth-degree possession of drugs. He also had an outstanding warrant from Hennepin County.

Disorderly conduct. The bar owner of Bogart's reported that the establishment had refused to serve a man alcohol, at which time the man spit into his hand and wiped spit across the bartender's face. He then left the bar. The bartender washed his face and called the police. The man's vehicle was later located in Farmington and the case has been referred to the city attorney for potential prosecution.

Theft. A woman, 85, tried to shoplift a tube of Cortaid. She not only admitted to that day's attempt but said she took a tube of Cortaid last week as well.

Assault. A Farmington man, 32, was arrested for second-degree assault with a dangerous weapon.

Sex crime. A Farmington man, 21, was arrested for providing liquor to an underage female and third-degree criminal sexual conduct.

Suspicious person. Employees at the Dairy Queen on Rahncliff Road reported a man returned to the drive-thru about an hour after he had been there. He was now in the parking lot. The man was described as wearing dark clothes. The responding officer made contact and in a visual search he saw two ski masks in the front seat. The officer searched the front seat for weapons and found more dark clothing and a sex toy. The man, 25, had been watching the three female employees.

Drugs. A Hastings man, 44, was arrested for possession of a small amount of marijuana and check forgery.

Traffic. A man, 27, was pulled over for a stop-sign violation that caused a minor property damage accident and he was subsequently arrested for third-degree drunken driving.

Winter parking ban. The police will cease enforcement of the winter parking ban during the holidays overnight from today through Sunday. In the event of a snow emergency, vehicles would have to be removed for plowing.

Property damage car crash. A Savage man, 44, driving eastbound on 140th Street failed to stop for the flashing red light and crashed into a car driven by a Prior Lake woman, 42, who was stopped on northbound Eagle Creek at 140th Street. The male was cited for a semaphore violation, no proof of insurance and failure to obtain Minnesota vehicle registration within 60 days.

Traffic. An Ellsworth, Wis., man, 46, was stopped for probable cause on a minor traffic infraction. The officer noticed an open bottle in the car. In addition to the citation for open bottle he was cited for drunken driving and driving without a valid driver's license.

Traffic. A South St. Paul man, 48, was cited for failure to obey a traffic control device, failure to comply with a previous driver's license restriction and second-degree drunken driving.
NOV. 28
Traffic crime. A Glencoe woman, 25, was stopped for speeding at S. Marschall Road and E. County Road 101. She was then arrested for fourth-degree drunken driving and third-degree test refusal.
NOV. 29
Criminal traffic. In the 8000 block of N. Old Carriage Circle, a Jordan man, 29, was arrested for drunken driving, possession of a small amount of marijuana, possession of drug paraphernalia and driving after revocation.
