Cannon Falls police seek missing teen

Last update: December 8, 2008 - 5:51 PM

Police are asking for the public's help in finding a teenage boy who was discovered missing this morning from his Cannon Falls home.

Nick Hoffman was last seen around 11 p.m. Sunday and was reported missing at 6 a.m. today.

It's unclear Hoffman walked away from his house, was picked up or left to meet somebody. There did not appear to be any sign of forced entry into the residence where he was last seen, said Cannon Falls Police Chief Jeff McCormick.

Hoffman took a blanket and pillow from his bed. It is believed that Hoffman is not dressed for winter weather, McCormick said.

Hoffman is 5 feet 10 inches, weighs between 120 and 130 pounds, has brown eyes and dishwater blonde hair. He wears braces and has acne in the vicinity of his nose.

Anybody with information is asked to call Cannon Falls Police at 1-507-263-2278.
