Weapons. A man, 24, was arrested for second-degree assault with a firearm and terroristic threats, both felonies.
SEPT. 24
Suspicious person. A 28-year-old man from Minneapolis was arrested for failure to register as a sex offender and a misdemeanor warrant.
SEPT. 23
Theft. Near the 4300 block of Metcalf Drive, a car window was smashed and the in-dash stereo and DVD player was taken as well as some nitrous bottles from the truck.

Theft. In the 1500 block of Thomas Center Drive, a car was broken into. A witness said a purse was taken from the car by a man and a woman in their mid-20s, who fled in a light blue older Saturn or Buick.
OCT. 14
Traffic. An officer stopped a vehicle for a traffic violation at W. 166th Street and Johnson Memorial Drive. The driver said he did not have insurance on the vehicle. The vehicle was towed and the man was transported to his place of business in Shakopee.
OCT. 17
Vandalism. A caller reported that a campaign sign had been vandalized on Hillside Drive near Sunset Drive. Movable letters on the side of the large cow-shaped sign had been changed. The letters forming the inappropriate words were removed and the candidate was called and informed.
Hit and run. Officers at Rice and 4th Street took a report from a man who said his intoxicated friend had backed into his car, causing damage. The friend was located in Prior Lake.
OCT. 19
Inappropriate conduct. Officers responded to a call of two teenagers having relations on the football field at a school on Sunset Drive. The teenagers were spoken to about inappropriate behavior in public and sent home.
OCT. 14
Traffic. An officer making a traffic stop at 14555 S. Robert Trail cited a man for giving a false name to a police officer, a gross misdemeanor.
SEPT. 10
Tobacco violation. A boy, age 16, was cited in the area of 1500 Koester Court for use of tobacco.
SEPT. 11
Traffic. At 1300 Jefferson Road, a 39-year-old woman was ticketed for having no proof of insurance.
OCT. 3
Theft. A resident in the 13800 block of S. Edgewood Avenue reported that a UPS package valued at $1,000 was taken from his home.
OCT. 4
Traffic. At W. Hwy. 13 and Lynn Avenue S., a 19-year-old Redwood Falls, Minn., woman was cited for speeding, and her passengers, a 20-year-old Willmar, Minn., man and a 19-year-old St. Cloud woman were cited for minor consumption after police observed the vehicle traveling 70 mph in a 45-mph zone.
OCT. 6
Disturbing the peace. Near 5700 W. 134 Street, a 30-year-old Shakopee man and 42-year-old St. Paul man were arrested for violation of an order for protection after police received a report of a disturbance at a residence.
OCT. 11
Traffic. At W. 126th Street and Glenhurst Avenue S., an officer stopped a car for expired tabs. The driver was cited for expired registration and having no Minnesota driver's license.
