The traveling exhibit, "Commemorating Controversy: The U.S.-Dakota War of 1862," will be on display at the Lawshe Memorial Museum, 130 3rd Av. N. in South St. Paul through March 28.

The exhibit, produced by Gustavus Adolphus College students and the Nicollet County Historical Society, explores the war's causes, voices, events and lasting consequences.

Spring Skating Camp registration open

Registration opened Saturday for Burnsville's Spring Skating Camp, which runs Mondays and Thursdays for three weeks in April.

Classes will be held April 6, 9, 13, 16, 20 and 23. Helmets are required for hockey classes and recommended for all beginning skaters.

Documentary examines bullying

The documentary "Bully" will be shown at 2 p.m. March 8 at the Wescott Library, 1340 Wescott Road in Eagan.

The film follows parents and kids who are trying to change how bullying is handled in schools, cities and communities. A panel discussion on bullying prevention will be held after the film.

Library invites teen opinions

A meeting for youth ages 12 to 18 who are interested in joining the Teen Advisory Group at the Farmington Library will be held at 6 p.m. Monday at the library, 508 3rd St.

Great Decisions tackles foreign policy

Syria's refugee crisis, sectarianism in the Middle East and other foreign affairs topics will be the subject of the Great Decisions group meeting Tuesday at the Galaxie Library.

The group is a nonpartisan discussion forum that provides education on American policy issues. Participants are encouraged but not required to read the Great Decisions briefing book available at the library.

City offers college hockey tickets

The registration deadline is Monday for Apple Valley residents to buy discount tickets for National Collegiate Hockey Conference games March 20 and 21 at Target Center in downtown Minneapolis.

The games available include two semifinal contests at 4 and 7:30 p.m. March 20 and the third-place and championship games at 3:30 and 7:30 p.m. March 21. Tickets for lower-level seats cost $62 and include two games.

Transportation to and from the games is not included.

Ticket purchasers will be called when tickets arrive at the Apple Valley Community Center.
