The apÂpliÂcaÂtion deadÂline is March 11 for seasÂonÂal youth recÂreÂaÂtion leadÂer jobs with the city of PriÂor Lake. Three poÂsiÂtions are open, each with an avÂerÂage of 23 hours per week. Shifts deÂpend on schedÂuled acÂtivÂiÂties.
ApÂpliÂcants must be 16 years old as of May 1 and have a valid Minnesota drivÂer's liÂcense and an acÂceptÂable drivÂing reÂcord. The jobs pay $10.75 per hour to start.

Jim Tift, who teachÂes in the School of Health at St. Catherine University, will be teachÂing a workÂshop called "TakÂing the car keys away from an old drivÂer" on March 19.
The sesÂsion at Club PriÂor, 16210 Eagle Creek Av. SE, beÂgins at 7 p.m. Tift will covÂer warnÂing signs that inÂdiÂcate an oldÂer drivÂer should not be drivÂing and exÂplain who can deÂterÂmine that someÂone should not be drivÂing. He will also share inÂforÂmaÂtion on help availÂable for oldÂer peoÂple in need of transÂporÂtaÂtion.
City Hall hosts Winter Market
The PriÂor Lake Winter Market will be held 9 a.m. to noon March 14 at City Hall, 4646 Dakota St. SE.
VenÂdors will be sellÂing breakÂfast treats, cofÂfee, jewÂelÂry, handÂcrafted items and othÂer sumÂmer marÂket favorites, while live bands enÂterÂtain shopÂpers. The farÂmers marÂket ofÂten feaÂtures local arÂtists sellÂing wovÂen rugs, iron work, potÂterÂy and othÂer wares. Many of the sumÂmerÂtime marÂket's venÂdors will be at the Winter Market.
Think spring with masÂter garÂdenÂers
The Carver-Scott masÂter garÂdenÂer free garÂdenÂing classÂes will conÂtinÂue throughÂout March at the PriÂor Lake Library, 16210 Eagle Creek Av. SE.
Classes are held from 6:30 to 8 p.m. MonÂdays through April 6. There will be no class March 9. The March 16 topÂic will be "Grow your own salÂad."

Children are diÂvidÂed by age groups and a bunÂny will be availÂable for photos. Find the goldÂen egg and win a speÂcial prize. DonaÂtions are acÂceptÂed for 360 ComÂmuÂniÂties and the Family ReÂsource Center.
