Michael Monroe will perform at the last of the three Frozen Apple winter concerts Saturday from 6 to 9 p.m. at the Valleywood Golf Course clubhouse, 4851 McAndrews Road in Apple Valley.

The concert, part of a series sponsored by the Apple Valley Arts Foundation, is free. Food and beverages will be available for purchase.

D.K. Molar, a melodrama

The Rosemount Area Arts Council will present "D.K. Molar, the Devious Dentist or There's Gold in Them Thar Teeth!" at 7 p.m. March 19 at the Rosemount Community Center auditorium, 13885 S. Robert Trail.

It's the story of depraved dentist D.K. Molar and his noxious nurse, Nova Caine, who have crafted a scam: After putting their patients to sleep with nitrous oxide, they remove the gold crowns and replace them with fakes made of fool's gold. The unsuspecting patients are none the wiser until Dr. Molar's new receptionist, Flossy Dailey, intervenes.

Park hosts 'The Way of the Monarch'

Heart of the Beast Puppet and Mask Theatre will present "The Way of the Monarch," from 7 to 8:30 p.m. Friday at Lebanon Hills Regional Park. The show tells the story of the life, migration and metamorphosis of the Monarch butterfly. The performance will be held at the park's Visitor Center, 860 Cliff Road.
