AUG. 22

Trafffic. Officers responding to an accident arrested a Burnsville man after determining that he was driving under the influence of drugs and alcohol. He was charged with drug-related criminal vehicular operation, a gross misdemeanor, and fourth-degree driving under the influence, a misdemeanor.

EAGAN

AUG. 23

Medical. An officer responded to a patient in apparent cardiac arrest in the 1200 block of Spruce Point. A 25-year-old male was unconscious with ineffective breathing and was in arrest due to heroin and alcohol. The officer administered CPR and the man regained consciousness and began breathing. He was transported to Ridges Hospital.

AUG. 24

Animal call. An officer responded to the 1500 block of Clemson Drive about a dog under the deck that had growled at the caller when she went to get mail. When the officer arrived he noticed the dog was on a rope that he followed to the house next door. The officer shared this information with the caller.

AUG. 26

Fraud. Dispatch put out a call from a female that a male has been calling her residence in the 1800 block of Silver Bell Road claiming she has won $150,000 and that she must pay fees to claim the money. She had told him repeatedly not to call her as she knows it is a scam. She preferred that the officer call her rather than stop by to take the report. Upon calling her she indicated that she knew the caller's name and that he had been calling her about 2-3 times a week for the past few months.

SAVAGE

SEPT. 5

Theft. A resident in the 14900 block of Mustang Path reported the attempted use of her credit card in Fort Lauderdale, Florida. No suspects. No loss.

Theft. A 14-year-old male from Burnsville reported his CD player and backpack were stolen from his locked locker at school. No suspects.

Theft. A woman from Burnsville reported an unauthorized transaction on her bank account from a business at 14100 S. Hwy 13.

Theft. A 15-year-old male from Savage had his bike stolen near the 14400 block of S. Alabama Avenue after it was locked to a light pole. A 20-year-old male from Savage had taken the bike. He advised officers where the bike was located and it was returned to the owner.

Property Damage. A resident in the 5300 block of Vernon Court reported the back and rear side windows were broken on his vehicle and a dent put in the back of the vehicle. Estimated damage is $500 to $1,000.

SEPT. 6

Property Damage. A resident in the 4100 block of W. 126 Street reported someone threw a rock through her window. No suspects. Damage is estimated at less than $200.

Property Damage. A woman in the 4700 block of W. 125th Street reported someone threw a rock through the back window of her vehicle. Estimated loss is $400. No suspects.

SEPT. 7

DWI. An officer noticed a person sleeping in a vehicle with their headlights on near the 7300 block of W. Hwy 13. The 47-year-old male from Mission, Texas, was arrested for fourth-degree DWI and third-degree refusal to submit to a Breathalyzer test.
