History buffs and art admirers can purchase prints of local artist Larry Landis' commemorative oil painting, "Old Eagan Town Hall."

Landis painted the original to celebrate the 100th year of the 1914 Town Hall. That painting has been donated to the Eagan Historical Society, but 200 numbered prints on canvas are on sale to the public for $120 each. Paper prints are also available for $35. All proceeds go to the Eagan Historical Society.

To purchase a print, go to the Administration/Finance counter at Eagan City Hall, 3830 Pilot Knob Road. Or, send an e-mail to historicalsociety@cityofeagan.com or call 651-675-5038.

Eagan

Valentine theater with a twist

The Eagan Theater Company is offering dinner and a dramatic murder mystery for Valentine's Day.

The company will perform "My Fatal Valentine" at Royal Cliff Center while the audience dines on an Italian menu that includes chicken breast "smothered" in white wine and pasta primavera with "killer sauce." The show is interactive and the audience will fill out ballots indicating who they think committed the crime. The audience's pick determines the end of the play, according to director Amy Kamarainen.

Royal Cliff Center is located at 2280 Cliff Road, Eagan. Tickets for the play and dinner are $38 each. They can be purchased through the Eagan Theater Company website, www.etc-mn.org.
