Bail was set at $1 million Friday morning for a former Visitation High School tennis coach charged with sexually assaulting a student. Daniel Erik Hubbard Wilson turned himself in to police on Thursday after he allegedly violated a restraining order yet again.

Wilson, 27, was arrested after he reportedly had been contacting the girl by accessing her Gmail and Yahoo accounts using her passwords and writing draft e-mails without sending them, said Janel Dressen, an attorney representing the girl and her family in the restraining order. According to the Ramsey County jail, he was taken into custody about 6:30 p.m.

It was the third time Wilson faced felony charges for allegedly violating a harassment restraining order in the case.

Exactly a week before, he was charged in Hennepin County with a felony for violating a restraining order by contacting the girl. He was arrested Nov. 26 after he allegedly appeared outside the girl's therapy session. He was charged last week with a misdemeanor by the Minneapolis city attorney's office, but that case was dismissed so the county attorney's office could file the felony charge.

In October, Wilson was charged in Ramsey County with violating a harassment restraining order by allegedly tricking the girl into following him on social media and then secretly meeting with her.

The original charges allege that Wilson had the girl at his home and sexually assaulted her multiple times over a year. He had coached her at Visitation School in Mendota Heights and also served as her private coach. Wilson was suspended and then resigned from his job as varsity coach.

At his bail hearing Friday in St. Paul, Ramsey County judge Diane Alshouse said Wilson was "acting like a sexual predator and a stalker by continuing to ignore her orders to have no conduct with the victim."
