Title Boxing Club, a fitness club that offers a total body workout through boxing and kickboxing classes, recently opened an outlet in Lakeville.

It’s the fifth club in the Twin Cities area for the Overland Park, Kan.-based chain. The others are in Edina, Woodbury, Arden Hills and Wayzata.

The new 5,100-square-foot facility is the Lakeville Crossing Shopping Center at 160th Street and Cedar Avenue.

In addition to its classes, each Title Boxing Club has personal training, cardio equipment and free weights available for members.

Walgreens store sold

The Walgreens store near the prime retail area surrounding Burnsville Center recently changed hands, selling for $11.5 million, according to documents filed with the Minnesota Department of Revenue. The buyer was a Sarasota, Fla.-based investment entity. The property had a local owner.

The 14,500-square-foot store was built in 2009. The sale price represented a hefty premium of the property’s most recent taxable value of $2.65 million, according to Dakota County property records.

Foreclosures decline

Foreclosures on residential and commercial properties continue to fall dramatically, according to figures from the Dakota County Community Development Agency.

Sheriff’s sales for the first half of this year totaled 358, the agency’s foreclosure summary report said. That’s down from 533 for the same period in 2013 and less than half the 830 through May 2012.

The report didn’t break out how many of the foreclosures were homes and how many were commercial or industrial buildings.

New Mayo facility

There’s a new medical center on the south side of Cannon Falls.

After 16 months of construction, contractors recently put finishing touches on the new facility for Mayo Clinic Health System.

The 92,000 square-foot facility, which includes a clinic, hospital and emergency department, is at 32021 County 24 Blvd. It has three times the space of a building it is replacing, which was constructed in 1958.

The new clinic will open in August.
