With online security a hot topic in light of the Heartbleed bug and high-profile data breaches, the Dakota County Library and Dakota County Technical College are offering a free cybersecurity class teaching the basics of protecting personal information from cyberattacks.

The session, from 6-7:30 p.m. May 7 at the Robert Trail Library, 14395 S. Robert Trail, Rosemount, will cover features of good online passwords, mobile security, malware and other topics.

Attendees must register before the class. See www.dakotacounty.us/library and check the calendar of events, or call 651-480-1200.
