Dakota County is on track to record its fourth consecutive annual decline in foreclosures on residential and commercial properties, according to figures from the Dakota County Community Development Agency.

Sheriff's sales totaled 769 through the end of September, the agency's foreclosure summary report said. That's about half the 1,525 recorded for all of 2012 and substantially less the 1,985 recorded for 2011 and 2,147 recorded for 2010.

The report didn't break out how many of the foreclosures were homes or how many were commercial or industrial buildings.

Skin treatment clinic opens

Contour Clinic recently opened a new office in Burnsville. The business also has a clinic in Vadnais Heights. Both offices are staffed by doctors, nurses and aestheticians experienced in nonsurgical facial and body treatments.

The clinic offers a wide variety of skin rejuvenation treatments, including chemical peels and microdermabrasion. It also provides several nonsurgical facial treatments, like Botox and fillers, as well as lasers and other nonsurgical procedures to reduce body fat.

The Burnsville office is in the Nicollet Plaza building on Travelers Trail, in front of the strip mall anchored by Cub Foods.

Perry to investment board

Mansco Perry III, an Eagan attorney, was recently named executive director of the Minnesota State Board of Investment.

Perry most recently served as chief investment officer for Macalester College in St. Paul. In his new job, he succeeds Howard Bicker, who is retiring after 32 years.

The Investment Board, whose members are the governor, attorney general, secretary of state and state auditor, is the state agency responsible for the investment management of various retirement funds, trust funds and cash accounts. As of June 30, the market value of all assets totaled $68.6 billion.

This is Perry's second stint at the Investment Board. He served as Bicker's deputy from 1990 to 2008.
