Glendale school given ‘excellence’ tag
The Minnesota Elementary School Principals’ Association (MESPA) has named Glendale Elementary School in Savage a 2013-14 Minnesota School of Excellence.
Glendale is the only south metro school to get the award, which is given to schools that demonstrate a commitment to 21st century teaching and learning.
To win the award, a school’s staff, students and community must create a School of Excellence school improvement plan and implement it effectively. Sam Richardson is the school’s principal.
