A vehicle struck two State Patrol squad cars at the scene of another crash Saturday night in the south metro where two interstates come together, injuring a trooper.
The trooper was taken to Hennepin County Medical Center in Minneapolis with non-life-threatening injuries, said patrol Lt. Eric Roeske.
Alcohol was believed to be a factor, and the driver of the vehicle was taken into custody, Roeske said.
The cruisers were struck on the on-ramp from I-494 to northbound I-35W.
