MARCH 15
Medical. Officer Karen Shaw received a call of a medical emergency at a residence. Upon arrival, Shaw found an 18-year-old man laying on the floor in the living room. "His head was cocked at an odd angle and he told me he was in pain and his neck was stuck in that position," Shaw said. The man said, "I was talking on the telephone for a long time and my neck is now stuck in this position."
MARCH 17
Auto accident. Officer Karen Shaw was called to a problem with an automobile on a private road in front of Taco Bell. When Shaw arrived, the woman who had been driving the vehicle was standing next to it. A 12-foot pothole had developed and the woman drove into it and couldn't get her car out. Bystanders had tried to lift the car out of the pothole. A tow truck removed the car. Code enforcement officers are working with the property owner to get the pothole repaired.

MARCH 11
Theft. A garage was broken into in the 1500 block of Ramsey Street. Six large bags of aluminum cans were stolen.
MARCH 13
Theft. More than 160 feet of copper piping was stolen from the basement of a vacant house in the 1600 block of Eddy Street.
MARCH 16
Theft. A woman in the 1400 block of Brittany Road reported someone entered her unlocked garage and stole a case of beer from the refrigerator.

MARCH 7 -- 14
Drunk driving. Sergeant Chad Hagen was on patrol late at night when he located a vehicle sitting at a green light at the intersection of 185th Street and County Road 50. The vehicle sat at the green light through the entire cycle and didn't proceed, so Hagen activated his emergency lights on his squad car and walked up to the car to check on the driver. When he approached the driver, he asked what he was doing. The driver replied, "Just waiting to get on the interstate. Why, what are you doing?" Hagen detected the odor of alcohol and asked the driver to step out of the car to perform a field sobriety test. The driver failed the test and recorded over twice the legal limit. The driver was arrested and taken to jail.

MARCH 9
Property damage. A woman in the 15000 block of Overlook Drive reported someone threw a tomato at her house. Police arrived and it appeared there were no damages from the tomato.
MARCH 11
Theft. A man in the 6000 block of McColl Drive reported losing his wallet. It was later found in Minneapolis, but was missing $38.
Littering. Small appliances were left on the road in the 5300 block of W. 132nd Lane.
MARCH 12
Property damage. A resident in the 4000 block of 141st Street reported one of her vehicle windows was broken out, value $200.
MARCH 13
Theft. A teacher at Eagle Ridge Jr. High reported the theft of a camera, value $370, from her desk.
Theft. A Savage grocery store reported a woman left the store with a cart full of groceries after her credit card was declined.

FEB. 27
Theft. A 17-year-old girl was cited for theft after stealing food and plastic spoons, value $7.80 from a store on Hwy. 13.
MARCH 4
Theft. Mail was reported stolen from the 15200 block of NW. Wilds Parkway.
MARCH 5
Littering. Someone reported a garbage truck with a leaking load near Eagle Creek Avenue and Texas Avenue.
Animal complaint. A rooster has been crowing morning and night in the 6800 block of Faricy Lane.
Illegal burning. A man in the 13400 block of Pike Lake Trail was cited for burning garbage and household items in his yard.
MARCH 10
Theft. Someone in a pickup truck stole a street sign at Hahn Drive and Hahn Lane.
Theft. An ATV and a trailer were stolen from the 21800 block of Sielaff Drive.
