FEB. 15

Auto accident. Officer Dan Schyma responded to a call of a vehicle stuck in a snowbank between the road and pedestrian path. The driver told Schyma she got confused coming off of Pilot Knob Road and County Road 42 and thought the pedestrian path was the road. She drove down the path for about 100 feet before realizing her mistake. She tried to drive back onto the road, but her car became stuck in the snow.


JAN. 23

Auto theft. Police were dispatched to a call of an unoccupied vehicle stuck in a snow bank. Police identified three suspects, who were believed to have broken into other vehicles in the city. They were arrested and charged with tampering with a motor vehicle, possession of a stolen vehicle and theft.

FEB. 16

Harassment. A woman in the 4200 block of Sun Cliff Road believes a neighbor is putting snow in her mailbox, which is damaging the mail.


FEB. 10

Burglary. A business in the 400 block of Main Street was burglarized.

FEB. 11

Burglary. A house in the 800 block of Catalina Way was burglarized.


FEB. 6

Theft. A man in the 100 block of S. Mertens Street called police twice to report that someone is stealing his wood.

FEB. 12

Noise. Police received a noise complaint on Bridle Creek Drive. The officer sent a letter as a final warning for loud music and booming bass, according to the report.

FEB. 17

Theft. Someone broke into a man's 1992 Grand Prix in the 4600 block of Ridge Cliff Road. The man said the glove box had been locked for several years. The glove box lock was broken and all the items inside were stolen. The man is unsure of exactly what was inside.


FEB. 9

Burglary. A burglary was reported in the 17100 block of Franchise Way.

Prior Lake

FEB. 8

Theft. An employee of Pulte Homes reported that copper gas lines and electrical wire, value $1,605, were stolen from a house under construction in the 17700 block of SE. Cleary Trail.

Burglary. A house in the 16900 block of SE. Wilderness Trail was burglarized. A video game console and equipment were stolen, value $85.


FEB. 9

Assault. A resident reported being assaulted and threatened with a sword. The case is under investigation.


FEB. 4

Theft. An unlocked vehicle was entered while it was parked outside of an apartment in the 1200 block of Taylor Street. The dashboard was damaged, and a stereo and CDs were stolen.

FEB. 5

Theft. A man reported that a window was smashed on his vehicle and an iPod and docking station were stolen while his car was parked at an apartment complex in the 900 block of Alysheba Road.

FEB. 7

Theft. Twelve used tractor-trailer rims were stolen from Royal Tire, 1315 Maras St.

FEB. 9

Theft. A man made an ATM transaction but forgot to take the cash. Later, he reported the money stolen.

FEB. 10

Public assist. An intoxicated man requested a ride home from police. The man was located hear SE. Bounty Street and SE. Franklin Trail knocking on random house doors. He told police that he had been assaulted, but he was uncooperative with information about the assault. Police placed the man in detox.
