The fifth season of the Lakeville Area Arts Center's Chamber Music Coffee Concerts begins at 2 p.m. Sunday with The WolfGang, seven musicians who play late Baroque through early classical music on period instruments.

The WolfGang will recreate "A London Bach/Abel Concert from 1765" featuring the music of Bach and Carl Friedrich Abel. Performers are Paul Jacobson on flute, Stanley King on oboe, Mary Sorlie on violin, Jennifer Kalika on viola, Laura Handler on cello, Gail Olszewski on fortepiano and Steve Staruch providing the voice.

The four-concert series at the arts center features chamber music performers from the Twin Cities area. Concerts are held in a casual setting with coffee and refreshments.

Upcoming concerts will feature the Vecchione/Erdahl Duo on March 18, Orkestar Bez Ime on April 29 and Minnesota Orchestra principal flute Adam Kuenzel and pianist Judith Gordon in a Mother's Day concert on May 13.

Tickets for individual concerts are $12 for adults and $10 for seniors and students. Season tickets are $36 for adults and $30 for seniors and students. Tickets are available at the arts center at 20965 Holyoke Av. or by calling 952-985-4640.

EAGAN

Wine tasting tickets Tickets are available for the Eagan Foundation's 11th annual wine tasting and silent auction on April 19.

The event will run 6-9 p.m. at the Eagan Community Center and will include a silent auction and raffle, samples of wine and microbrew beers, food, and live jazz music.

The gala is the foundation's major fundraiser for the year. Proceeds help fund the foundation's activities, which include community grants to nonprofits that operate in Eagan and scholarships for students who live or attend school in Eagan.
