Auto theft. A vehicle was stolen from the 14700 block of Endicott Way.

Auto theft. A vehicle was stolen from the 15500 block of Cedar Avenue S.
Burnsville
DEC. 30
Burglary. A 49-year-old Burnsville man was arrested after he broke into a house in the 700 block of Evergreen Drive. The homeowner found the man before he could steal anything, but $100 in damage was caused to the house. The burglar is also being charged with second-degree assault.
Eagan
DEC. 28
Theft. The window on a Ford Explorer was smashed and a purse that was inside was stolen. The vehicle was parked at the Eagan Civic Center.
JAN. 2
Suspicious person. A homeowner in the 2100 block of Wuthering Heights Road believes that someone was in the house while he was at work, because there are dog feces and dried-up dead mice in the house. Nothing was taken. The man doesn't know who might have done it.
JAN. 7
Burglary. One Hour Martinizing Cleaners was burglarized over the weekend. The glass front doors were shattered, but no entry was made.
JAN. 8
Burglary. Metcalf Jr. High School was burglarized. A desktop computer and a flat-screen monitor were taken from one of the counseling offices. The master keys were also missing.

Public assistance. Someone requested assistance to deal with the manure that was spread on the road in the 7600 block of E. 250th Street.
Burglary. A vacant house in the 26600 block of Irving Avenue was burglarized.

Burglary. A property in the 700 block of 8th Street was burglarized.

Burglary. A house in the 100 block of Anthony Drive was burglarized.

Burglary. Force was used in the burglary of a house in the 8300 block of W. Lower 208th Street. The burglary occurred during the night.
Northfield
JAN. 2
Disturbance. Police were called to the 200 block of Greenvale Avenue because a man was heard being loud and threatening someone. Everything turned out to be fine; the disturbance was an intoxicated man who was talking to himself and was having a bad day.
JAN. 5
Property damage. Someone reported damage to a windshield wiper but was unsure how the damage occurred. Police advised the complainant that the wiper wasn't broken - just worn out. The incident occurred near 5th and Prairie Streets.
JAN. 6
Snowmobile complaint. Police received a report that there were snowmobiles racing up and down the street in the 1100 block of S. Washington Street. The snowmobilers were gone when police arrived.

Theft. A GPS unit, value $330, was stolen from a vehicle that was parked at Mystic Lake Casino.

Theft. A 48-year-old Minneapolis man was arrested after stealing $40 in chips from a blackjack table at Mystic Lake Casino.
Theft. A resident in the 15200 block of NW. Jeffers Pass reported mail theft.

Theft. A resident in the 6000 block of McColl Drive reported the theft of a Santa from his yard, value $300.

Theft. A woman in the 4300 block of W. 137th Street reported that someone entered her vehicle and took some change and the owner's manual for her vehicle, value $1.

Theft. Two snow blowers were stolen from a fenced yard in the 100 block of S. Scott Street.
DEC. 31
Burglary. A house in the 2300 block of Affirmed Drive was forcibly entered and a TV was stolen.
