A motorist who was not wearing a seat belt died in a rollover crash in Lakeville early Sunday, authorities said.

Wendi M. Liverseed, 25, of Burnsville, was killed in the crash, which happened shortly after 3:35 a.m. on northbound Interstate 35, just north of County Road 70, according to the State Patrol.

A witness said she was driving "at a high rate of speed" when her car went off the left side of the road and rolled several times, the patrol said. Liverseed died at the scene.

In Wisconsin, authorities on Sunday released the name of the 9-year-old Minnesota boy who was killed early Saturday in a rollover on Interstate 90 near Madison, in Dane County. He was Alonzo Stevenson of St. Paul.

The crash happened about 3:40 a.m. when officials say the 50-year-old driver of a the SUV Alonzo was in fell asleep. The driver awoke when the vehicle hit the rumble strips on the side of the road and overcorrected.

The driver lost control and the vehicle rolled, ejecting the boy.

Two other passengers suffered noncritical injuries. The driver was not hurt.
