Burglary. An 18-year-old Minneapolis man was arrested in Apple Valley for aggravated robbery, assault and making terroristic threats.

BURNSVILLE

Drug activity. A 45-year-old Burnsville man was arrested for manufacturing methamphetamine, indecent exposure and disorderly conduct in the 200 block of Burnsville Circle.

EAGAN

MARCH 10

Littering. A new resident in the 3800 block of Lodestone Lane reported that someone had dumped garbage in front of his garage door several times.

MARCH 11

Attempted theft. A resident in the 1400 block of Rocky Lane observed two men going through a vehicle across the street and chased after them on foot. The vehicle's owner reported nothing had been taken.

Theft. An iPod Touch was stolen from an unlocked vehicle in the 3900 block of Clippers Road.

MARCH 12

Theft. A former male employee at the Lone Oak Market, 1286 Lone Oak Road, reportedly was seen taking pots and pans from the business without permission, police said.

Suspicious activity. A 46-year-old man wanted for crimes in another state was arrested in the 200 block of 5th Street East.

ROSEMOUNT

MARCH 10

Theft/attempted burglary. Two vehicles in the 15500 block of Cornell Trail W. reportedly were burglarized. An attempted forced-entry burglary was also reported at a residence. One vehicle owner reported the theft of items valued between $500 and $1,000. The other vehicle owner reported damage to his vehicle.

MARCH 11

Theft. A 30-year-old Ham Lake man and two Coon Rapids men, ages 34 and 21, were arrested at the U Pull R Parts salvage yard, 2985 160th St. W., for trespassing and theft, police said.

SOUTH ST. PAUL

MARCH 5

Theft. A gas cap was stolen off a vehicle parked in the 1500 block of Willis Avenue.

MARCH 7

Found property. A vehicle stolen in November from Walser Auto Outlet, 740 Concord St. S., was recovered by the Midwest Wyoming Police Department in Wyoming. The license plates had been stolen.

MARCH 8

Fraud. A resident of the 200 block of 6th St. S. reported a case of identity theft. The resident had filed his taxes with Jackson-Hewitt, and a couple of weeks later the IRS contacted Jackson-Hewitt to inform him that a tax return already had been filed under his name. The resident said his home was burglarized in 2005 and among the items stolen was his Social Security card.

WEST ST. PAUL

MARCH 6

Theft. $600 was stolen from an apartment in the Oaks, 191 Thompson Av. E.

MARCH 7

Theft. Vehicles were gone through and many stereos were stolen from cars at A&J's Garage, 1010 Dodd Road.

Fraud. Fraudulent charges were made to the credit cards of a resident of the 100 block of Haskell St. after they were stolen from a wallet lost at Wells Fargo Bank, 1710 Robert St. S., or Walmart, 1644 Robert St. S. A total of $321.40 was charged to one card at Target, 1750 Robert St. S. The bank was contacted to cancel the cards.

MARCH 9

Illegal dumping. Tires were dumped onto Langula Hardware's property, 919 Robert St. S.

Suspicious activity. A resident of the 1100 block of Seminole Avenue reported a stranger approaching children who were walking home from school. The stranger, a dark-haired man driving a black pickup truck, was honking at them for half a block and then pulled over to try to convince them to get into the truck. The children got home safely.
