Theft. A 29-year-old Burnsville man was arrested for burglary in Apple Valley.

FEB. 2

Burglary. An unknown man was reportedly trying to get into a house in the 24700 block of Meridian Circle.

BURNSVILLE

FEB. 2

Theft. The theft of items valued at more than $500 was reported at the Buck Hill Ski Area, 15400 Buck Hill Road.

Theft. A 26-year-old Apple Valley man was arrested for receiving stolen property.

JORDAN

FEB. 3

Theft. $1,080 in cash was reported missing from the pull-tab box at Moola's Bar, 216 E. 1st St. A man was located hiding in a closet of his residence and the money was recovered.

FEB. 3

Suspicious activity. The door was found open at Hot Sams Antiques, 22820 Pillsbury Av. Nothing was reported missing.

FEB. 5

Fight. An officer responded to a fight between two female relatives in the 100 block of Stuart Drive. Medical personnel were dispatched to assess any injuries, and the officer stood by until a taxi arrived to take them home. No arrests were made since it could not be determined who started the fight.

FEB. 9

Suspicious activity. Two vehicles were reported parked at a foreclosed house in the 22500 block of Baseline Boulevard.

PRIOR LAKE

JAN. 31

Theft. Cash, debit cards and a book of checks were reported stolen from a vehicle at Kids Count Daycare, 6880 NE. Boudin St.

FEB. 2

Suspicious activity. A Prior Lake woman reported an unknown vehicle parked in her garage in the 16500 block of SE. Franklin Trail.

FEB. 3

Theft. Cooper core welding cable valued at $800 was reported stolen from a residence near the intersection of SE. Fish Point Road and SE. Victoria Curve.

FEB. 4

Stolen property/drugs. A 28-year-old St. Paul man was arrested at Mystic Lake Casino, 2400 NW. Mystic Lake Blvd., while in a stolen vehicle and in possession of methamphetamine.

FEB. 5

Theft. A Prior Lake woman reported the possible theft of her computer modem in the 3400 block of SW. Willow Beach Trail. The computer was found to just be running slowly.

Property damage. A traffic accident at NW. Mystic Lake Drive and NW. 140th Street resulted in a 22-year-old Onamia, Minn., woman being arrested for an outstanding Mille Lacs County warrant for failure to appear on a disorderly conduct charge. The woman resisted arrest and was further charged with obstructing the legal process, failure to show proof of insurance and driving without a valid driver's license.

FEB. 6

Theft. An MP3 player was stolen from an unlocked vehicle parked in the driveway in the 14300 block of Aspen Avenue NE. A second vehicle was gone through but nothing was reported missing.

ROSEMOUNT

FEB. 10

Assault. A 23-year-old Lakeville man was arrested in Rosemount for obstructing justice and assaulting a police officer.

SAVAGE

FEB. 3

Drug activity. Two pounds of marijuana was seized after a search warrant was executed at an undisclosed residence.

SHAKOPEE

JAN. 26

Drunkenness. A 44-year-old Shakopee woman was arrested for assault, obstructing justice with force and disorderly conduct in the 1200 block of 1st Avenue E.

JAN. 31

Shoplifting. A 19-year-old Shakopee woman was arrested for shoplifting, driving with a suspended license and possession of drug paraphernalia, and a 19-year-old Jordan woman was arrested for shoplifting from Kohl's, 1529 E. 17th Av.

FEB. 2

Shoplifting. A 41-year-old St. Paul man was arrested for shoplifting and trespassing at Wal-Mart, 8101 N. Old Carriage Court.

SOUTH ST. PAUL

FEB. 3

Family dispute. A child was taken from a Lincoln Center Elementary classroom by their mother, who was allegedly violating the family custody agreement. The mother was supposed to pick the child up from the father's home later in the evening but went straight to the school instead, the father reported. The father was told to document the incident at the Hennepin County Courthouse.

Fraud. Fraudulent charges were made to a debit card belonging to a resident of the 300 block of 17th Avenue N. Three total transactions were made before the card was cancelled.

FEB. 4

Property damage. A customer at Subway, 166 N. Concord Exchange, became upset that the restaurant was out of apples and kicked the front door while leaving, breaking the door.

Nuisance. A man trespassing at Kaposia Convenience, 1214 Southview Blvd., was asking customers for money and rides. The store owner recognized the man because he is not allowed at the business because of previous similar incidents.

Theft. All four hubcaps were stolen off a vehicle parked in the 500 block of 9th Avenue S.

WEST ST. PAUL

FEB. 2

Fraud. A resident of the 300 block Ruby Drive reported a fraudulent call from a person in jail claiming to be her grandson and requesting money. The resident also has received recent fraudulent calls informing her she won the lottery, and that she hasn't paid her bills.

Disturbance. In the checkout line of Rainbow Foods, 1660 S. Robert St., a man reportedly hit the woman in front of him twice with his shopping cart because she was "taking too long."

Assault. A man reported he was hit in the throat with a type of club or wrench by another man in a home in the 200 block Roeller Avenue. When police arrived, no weapon was found.

FEB. 3

Illegal parking. A man reported his deceased mother's handicapped parking pass was being abused at Colleen Loney Manor, 1675 Livingston Av., by the current driver of her car. He reported that this is not the first time the pass has been abused.

Disturbance. A customer at Little Caesar's Pizza, 1115 S. Robert St., attempted to start a fight with an employee.
