Fraud. There was a report of possession of a forged object in the 200 block of Park Lane.
AUG. 19
Theft. Jewelry was reportedly stolen from a woman's residence in the 14700 block of Endicott Way. The woman suspects a home contractor committed the crime.
Theft. A vehicle was reported stolen from an open garage in the 8100 block of 129th Court. The owner said he left the keys in the ignition. Police spotted the stolen car later and arrested a 25-year-old woman who was driving it.
Theft. A construction trailer was reported stolen from the parking lot of a condominium project in the 7700 block of 142nd Street.
AUG. 21
Burglary. A residential burglary was reported in the 14800 block of Echo Way. It reportedly happened sometime in the daytime.
Drunkenness. Public drunkenness was reported in the 7300 block of 157 Street West.
Burglary. Someone smashed the drive-through window of the Dairy Queen at 7720 149th St.. The thief stole cash and change.
AUG. 6
Drugs. A 22-year-old reported for trespassing in the 3500 block of Williams Drive was arrested for possession of marijuana and drug paraphernalia.
AUG. 7
Burglary. An ice cream maker, art supplies, school textbooks and hooded sweatshirts, total value $650, were reported stolen in the 2700 block of Selkirk Drive.
AUG. 9
Property damage. A car was hit by several paint balls near Lac Lavon Drive and Southcross Drive E.
AUG. 10
Theft. Several golf clubs, a club bag and a pair of golf shoes, total value $2,270, were reported stolen in the 300 block of Burnsville Parkway E.
LAKEVILLE
AUG. 14
Property damage. Damage of more than $1,000 was reported in the 9400 block of 215 Street W.
Animal complaint. An animal was impounded on the 16800 block of Interlachen Boulevard.
AUG. 16
Sexual misconduct. A child was reported to be solicited to engage in sexual conduct in the 9200 block of 183 Street W.
Fraud. It was reported in the 16800 block of Kenyon Avenue that a stolen card was used.
AUG. 15
Drugs. A 14-year-old Rosemount boy was arrested for possession of marijuana and drug paraphernalia in the 14600 block of Boxwood Path.
Property found. A bicycle was found in the 14700 block of Robert Trail S.
SOUTH ST. PAUL
AUG. 19
Theft. Five solar lamps were reported stolen from a garden in the 700 block of 7th Avenue S.
AUG. 20
Theft. A woman reported a homeless man she let store some belongings in her apartment had stolen her DVD player and DVDs. She said that he shouldn't have had a key, so she thought he must have come in through a window.
Theft. Several tires and rims were reported stolen off vehicles at Fury Motors at 1000 Concord St. S. Three trucks were found sitting on cinderblocks.
AUG. 21
Property damage. A vehicle in the 1200 block of 4th Street N. was reportedly damaged overnight. The damage consisted of a dent and scratches in the hood that were probably caused by somebody kicking it. Several vehicles in the area had similar damage that night.
AUG. 17
Property found. Someone left a gun in a holster in the donations area of the Goodwill located at 1361 Robert St. S.
AUG. 18
Burglary. Someone reported in the 200 block of Westview Drive that a thief entered her home while her family was asleep and stole some items from her purse. The backdoor was found partially opened.
Property found. A purse was found in the backyard of a home in the 200 block of Annapolis Street W. In the purse was a wallet that had been reported stolen.
AUG. 19
Burglary. Someone kicked in the door of a home in the 100 block of Ottawa Avenue. The victim ran upstairs. When the suspect heard the victim, he or she took off.
AUG. 20
Fraud. A stolen credit card had been used at the Target at 1750 Robert St. S. It had also been used at a Payless Shoes store and a Petco. The card was reported stolen in Eagan.
Theft. A woman reported that a laptop had been stolen from her vehicle while she was in the U.S. Bank at 1493 Robert St. S. The windows were down and the doors were unlocked. It later turned out that she was mistaken and had accidentally looked into the wrong vehicle.
AUG. 21
Suspicious person. Two men were spotted putting up a ladder to enter a window in the 1300 block of Felix Street. The suspects were later discovered to have criminal records.
