Starry symphony

It makes you feel so small. You look up into night sky, 20 miles from the nearest town, 10 miles from the nearest power line and the view is stunning

After leaving the sparkling skyline but muted constellations of the city behind, It's one of the more inspiring moments in deer camp. We come from many locations and leave our lives behind. We sleep with mice, honor the hunt, celebrate meals and share stories.

But, it's that long walk in the dark, before daybreak, settling into a tree stand and looking up that gives us pause. The night sky away from the city on a moonless night can take your breath away.
