Anoka motocyclist is killed in Sherburne County crash

A 49-year-old Anoka man on a motorcycle was killed Tuesday in a crash with a flat-bed tow truck.

Jeffrey Skoglund was pronounced dead at the scene of the crash, near Baldwin Township, at the intersection of Sherburne County Roads 38 and 19, the County Sheriff's Office said.

Skoglund was going north on County Road 19 about 12:05 p.m. when he crashed with the tow truck, which was going east on County Road 38.

The truck's driver, Brett Johnson, 44, of Milaca, Minn., was not injured, the Sheriff's Office said.

The investigation into the crash continues.
