BLAINE

OCT. 2

Disturbing the peace. Police received a report at 8:15 a.m. that a man and a woman were in a yard, arguing loudly, on the 8700 block of VanBuren St. NE. Police found a man in the yard. He said his girlfriend came by to throw his clothes in the yard.

OCT. 3

Hitchhiking. Police were called to report that two people were hitchhiking on Central Avenue NE and 93rd Lane NE. An officer found two men and smelled alcohol. Both men were taken to a detox facility, and one was cited for a hitchhiking violation.

OCT. 4

Theft. Police were called to Spencer's, 311 Northtown Dr. NE. According to the report, an employee saw a 16-year-old boy open a package of exotic lubricants and place one bottle of "Booty Lube" in his pocket. He walked past all points of sale. His mother was contacted and she picked him up.

OCT. 5

Theft. A woman reported that her 16-year-old son became upset after she refused to return his video game. According to the report, he held a cat out the window and dropped it during the argument, then took his mother's vehicle without her permission and drove it without a valid license. He returned the car later and was cited for several violations.

COON RAPIDS

OCT. 7

Theft. Someone stole a 4 foot-tall windmill from the yard of a home on the 800 block of 124th Lane NW.

Drunken driving. Police responded to a report of a possible drunken driver on the 4100 block of Coon Rapids Boulevard NW. The caller said the man was driving on a flat tire. Police found the vehicle and stopped the motorist for driving conduct and driving on a flat tire. Police said the 57-year-old man was intoxicated and was arrested.

Theft. A guitar amplifier and six microphones were stolen from Coon Rapids United Methodist Church, 10506 Hanson Blvd. NW.

OCT. 9

Burglary. Someone broke into a home on the 10200 block of Ibis Street NW. and stole $20,000 worth of jewelry and electronics.

FRIDLEY

OCT. 9

Alcohol violation. An employee at Two Stooges Bar and Grill, 7178 University Av. NE, failed an alcohol compliance check by selling alcohol to a minor decoy, the report said. The employee served a beer to the girl after looking at her identification.

HAM LAKE

OCT. 3

Drunken driving. Someone called police to complain of a loud party on the 3100 block of Bunker Lake Boulevard NE. A deputy searched the area and found a group of people. One had been driving a vehicle and backed into two parked vehicles. Police said he appeared intoxicated and was arrested.

MOUNDS VIEW

OCT. 9

Theft. Police recovered a stolen vehicle on the 2400 block of County Road I. A 30-year-old Mounds View woman was arrested.

OAK GROVE

OCT. 6

Theft. A vehicle was stolen from the 22300 block of Lake George Blvd. NW. The keys to the vehicle were left above the visor and the vehicle was unlocked.

RAMSEY

SEPT. 11

Theft. A popcorn machine was stolen from a tent during the night, on the 14500 block of Nowthen Blvd. NW.
